MSA Online Learning Management System – Individual Subscription

January 1 @ 8:00 am - December 31 @ 11:30 pm

The Missouri Sheriffs’ Association (MSA) is now offering an individual subscription service for our Online Learning Management System (LMS). The MSA LMS Individual Subscription guarantees the subscriber the ability to complete all of their POST required annual CLEE training with the exception of the 2-hour Skill Development/Firearms training requirement. There are currently over 100 courses available to choose from.

Patrol Rifle Instructor Course, Jefferson City

October 16 @ 8:00 am - October 18 @ 5:00 pm

Firearms instructors take your skills and abilities to a new level. The addition of the semiautomatic rifle has increased the effectiveness of the patrol officer, but it also offers challenges to the trainer. This course is a POST approved course required to obtain a patrol rifle specialist instructor license. This two-day course is mentally and physically demanding, so participants must be in good physical condition. Both days will run longer than the minimum of eight (8) hours with low light shoot.

Fundamentals of Court Security, Pettis County

October 17 @ 8:00 am - October 18 @ 5:00 pm

This 16-hour course is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding of the fundamentals associated with providing a safe and secure environment for conducting court business, as well as seeing to the safety of all who pass through the courthouse doors. Whether you have been working the courthouse for years or have just been assigned to the position, this course has plenty to offer. 

Field Training Officer, Christian County

October 21 @ 8:00 am - October 24 @ 5:00 pm

Not only are they responsible for the performance of general law enforcement duties, they are also responsible for guiding recruits through a comprehensive curriculum that requires the blending of knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as the good judgment of when, where, and how to apply them.
